Most existing programs do not address these vital issues that can make or break a student-athlete’s chances…or an athlete’s career.  We want participants to benefit from our collective experience so they can emulate our successes and not make the same mistakes.

When will the academy take place? (Dates and duration)

LEGACY Academies will run from April-July 2013, hosted by Different NFL Player around the country. Search our camp finder to find locations near you. Apply now!

How much does it cost?

Prices vary depending on location and number of days. Some markets will make scholarships available.

What age group is 360 Football Academy open to?

360 Football Academy is open to all high-school football players. All incoming freshmen to all incoming seniors.

 

Engagement

How does a student athlete sign up for an academy?

All participants will sign-up via the website.  Payment can be made either electronically or by certified check / cash.  Those approved / picked to receive scholarships will have their application managed in-house but initially must apply for scholarship on-line.

What do student athletes need to bring to the academy?

Academy needs will vary depending on overnight or day Academies. A complete list of required items will be provided to each academy participant approximately 2-weeks prior to the start of the academy when welcome kits are sent out to attendees.

In addition to the on-site academy, what makes up the year round curriculum?

Academy participants are required to participate in a 3-month “live on line” college prep class, a leadership development program, on-going training and performance planning, health and wellness education and much more.  For more information on each academy’s full-curriculum, please visit the “academy programs” section of our website.

Will attending the academy help student athletes improve their game and enhance their opportunity to play college Football?

YES!! 360 Football Academy is a PERFORMANCE company. Maximum performance on the field, in the classroom, and in life are key to enhancing students athletes opportunities to play at the next level.

Security

What happens if a student athlete gets injured at the academy?

360 Football Academy will have trained medical staff on-site throughout the week to tend to injuries. Additionally, 360 has trainers on-site to tend to individuals who may need “taping” or other minor medical needs.

What oversight do you have to ensure the students’ safety while at the academy?

On-site security personnel are present throughout the academy and all coaches, professional athletes and other staffs undergo a formal background check prior to being hired.  Additionally, policies are in place where adults are not permitted to be with a single academy participant alone at any time.

 

Leaders and Coaches

How do you recruit academy leaders? How do you recruit academy coaches?

360 Football Academy hand picks its coaching staff based on playing experience (NFL Coaches), coaching experience (high school coaches), and industry leaders (Off the field coaches) to provide a comprehensive and knowledgeable staff to our student-athletes.

Parents

What is POPA?

Parents Of Professional Athletes is a network of former parents who are poised to share their personal experience and insight during a full-day parents’ workshop.  This particular portion of the academy addresses expectations and challenges of athletes, including a road map to holistic success and obstacles to avoid.

Can a parent visit their child while at the academy?

There will be designated areas available for parents to observe practices and on-the-field activities.  In addition, there will be special hotel rates available for out-of-town parents who need accommodation.

Is there a parents’ track/program during the academy events? What will it cover? When does it take place?

Yes.  Health and wellness, college admissions, NCAA Compliance and more.  It will take place during a day of the academy.  There will also be a closing social event (e.g. bbq) for parents to attend.
