Our son participated in the 360 Football Academy at Georgia Tech in June 2010. During the academy, he was able to gain a tremendous amount of experience with the other athletes, coaches, and teaching seminars. It was really great for him to be placed in a setting with other athletes who share the same goals of achieving results that will help them rise to the next level of competition. The 360 program teaches the athletes that their success is dependent upon all aspects of preparation and not just on their athletic ability. The parent seminar provided a tremendous amount of information with regard to helping our sons achieve their goals. We feel that this has been an invaluable experience for our son and for us to focus on the areas necessary to give our son the best chance to excel and to move on to the next level. In my over twenty years of life as an athlete, I have never seen anything even close to 360 Football Academy. What an amazing experience. No one outside of the Academy can comprehend how profoundly this week has touched everyone on every level. From the students to the coaches, to the staff, there is no one that is involved with 360 Football Academy that has not had their life changed in a significant way. I cannot imagine how much more well thought out and organized my life would have been had I been given the tools these boys were given by 360. The 360 Football Academy has jumpstarted the college recruitment journey for our family. The 360 Football Academy held on June 7, 2010 at Georgia Tech was a great experience for my son and provided valuable information for us to help us navigate through the recruiting process. There was never a question that my son will go to college. We want to make sure he can maximize his potential through his academics and college selection where he can continue to play football but most importantly get a great education. During the 360 Parent Academy workshop on the last day of the Academy, we received valuable information from Kaplan, National Collegiate Scouting Association, Team Doctors Preferred Access as well as the presentation from Sam McNabb and Baltimore Raven Ray Lewis. After the Academy, the ongoing weekly Kaplan training and webinars are very effective for the student–athletes, especially during the summer months until school starts in the fall. My son is also selecting better quality foods to eat as snacks and drinking more water.
